18 holes, three lakes, 93 bunkers set in a single glance.
In 1987 the architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr. made his unique mark on the world of golf: the ancient volcanic crater basin that contained the Turno Lake turned into a challenging and cozy golf course. Under the vigilant gaze of the seventeenth-century clubhouse, a thousand pitfalls welcome players of all levels, inviting them to study each shot carefully, from the first drive startingfrom the terraces of the initial hole to the last ‘putt’ on the green of the 18th hole at the foot of the ridge. Each hole slowly reveals that plans can constantly change thanks to both the natural and artificial obstacles, skilfully exploited in a unique setting formed by ancient olive trees, oaks and pines.
You can arrange golf lessons for beginners, individuals and groups, with qualified instructors. The golf club is about 30 minutes from Villa Tuscolana Park Hotel: transfer by car or bus is available upon request.
